Every year in Nigeria’s music industry, it’s becoming a norm that one or two artiste will make it to the proper mainstream, especially when you’re a street artiste.
In 2018, Slimcase and Mr. Real were the champions, they hit the street with a new vibe that has never being in existence, “The Shaku Shaku Vibe“.
Both acts were so talented with rendition of relatable street jargon everyone called “Lamba” which was accompanied by a unique dance moves (Shaku-Shaku Dance).
Towards, the end of 2018, Zlatan and Naira Marley were already gathering the Buzz, only to blow up in 2019.
When it comes to street music this year, Zlatan and Naira Marley‘s name will get the first mentions before any other artiste. Not even Olamide can level up with their wave this year.
This year, some artistes are looking promising already, the year 2020 is already here and it’s still not clear the artistes that will dominate next year if the law of diminishing return finally catch up on Zlatan.
