In Nigeria’s music industry today, you cannot talk about revelation of new talents and helping the upcoming ones without mentioning names like; Don Jazzy, Olamide, Davido and Banky W.
These guys have so well in terms of growing new talents and supporting upcoming artistes to stardom in Nigeria’s music industry.
Without them, some artistes will still not be able to make anything out of their talents.
DON JAZZY
Through Don Jazzy alone, lots of upcoming artistes have grown to become superstars.
Life stories of artistes like D’Banj, Wande Coal, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Dr. Sid, Rema won’t be complete without Don Jazzy in the middle of the storyline.
DAVIDO
In Davido‘s case, this is someone very passionate about helping upcoming talents grow.
He runs DMW and 30BG gang like government agency spending money on upcoming artistes without minding whether profit comes or not.
It is obvious that Davido takes pride in seeing upcoming talents grow.
Doing this has made him grow from King to Emperor in the music industry with the likes of Dremo, Mayorkun, Yonda, Perruzi and others doing well in his empire..
OLAMIDE
Since the early stages of his career, Olamide has been supporting upcoming artistes. As he grows in the music scene, he is always making sure one or two artistes are growing with him.
If not for Olamide, Lil Kesh might still be roaming in the street of Bariga by now.
Adekunle Gold might still be hustling as a graphic designer if not for Olamide who supported his music talent.
Chinko Ekun, Lyta, Picazo, Yomi Blaze, Davolee and others will forever be grateful to Olamide.
Fireboy is the latest beneficiary of Olamide‘s helping hands. Needless to say, Baddo na Baba!!
BANKY W
This man is definately worthy of mention in this post.
He nurtured and produced a world Starboy Wizkid from scratch. Without him, Wizkid might not be who he is today.
Skales is also a popular beneficiary of Banky W‘s hand of support to upcoming artistes.
