After a successful music career run in 2019, Zlatan attempted to take the lead this year by releasing a new song titled “Quilox” earlier than any other artiste.
This song must have been inspired by the ugly ordeal Shina Peller, owner of Quilox Club in Lagos faced last December when he got arrested and detained for trying to bail out his customers and retrieved their vehicles seized by police.
Now Zlatan is telling us “All Man For Himself” meaning, always fight for yourself, if you don’t, no one will.

Having listened to the song, it still feels like listening to “Yeye Boyfriend“, “This Year“, “Bolanle” and the likes. It’s still the same old pattern of sound.
This year, Zlatan needs to experiment with other producers and give Rexxie a break before music lovers get totally tired of his brand.
However, it is important to point out that the timing of the song was right and of course the lyrical content is highly motivational.
Incase you don’t get the message in the song, Zlatan is trying to tell you to create a good life for yourself and yourself alone this year.

So this Zlatan’s new song, Quilox is definately a good song lyrically but that pattern don cast. At this point, I think he should be unpredictable with his songs.
Like Olamide that year, you don’t know what pattern he is bringing next. Zlatan really needs to step out of his comfort zone and start making good music in different styles. That’s if he wants to remain relevant for long.
