The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka has announced the matriculation date for all the candidates who are offered provisional admission into the Institution for the 2019/2020 academic session.
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) wishes to inform members of the general public that the 46th Matriculation Ceremony, scheduled to officially usher in the 2019/2020 academic session newly admitted students, has been postponed.

The UNN Matriculation ceremony for freshers scheduled to hold on Saturday 25th January 2020 in various faculties at all the campuses of the University has been postponed indefinitely.
Bayero University Kano, BUK Hostel Accommodation Fee, and Application guideline of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students for the 2019/2020 academic session has commenced.

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) hostel accommodation booking guidelines for the 2019/2020 academic session have been published by the school management.
This is to inform all the students of the University of Benin, who are interested in Hostel Accommodation in the 2019/2020 academic session should take note of these guidelines.
Interested students are to pay the UNIBEN accommodation charges. The payment of charges for the new session will be enabled shortly.
Also, please make sure you actually need the accommodation and intend to operate from there. No student is allowed to book and transfer to another student as this is a punishable Offence.
UNIBEN Hostel Application Procedure
Returning students’ payment of charges and if desired, application for hostel accommodation online for 2019/2020 session starts on Wednesday 15th January 2020 at 2:00 PM prompt.
Step 1: Log into the University of Benin portal at https://uniben.waeup.org/. Under Accommodation, Select Particular Hall of Interest.
This is a compulsory step for all that require accommodation in any of the reserved halls. For example, hall 5, hall 6, NDDC, etc. Those that require accommodation in Hall 1, Hall 2, Hall 3 or Hall 4 and do not want to specify hostel can skip this step and go straight to step 2 after logging in. The next available space will be automatically assigned
Step 2: Under Payments, Create Bed Allocation ticket. Make payment using any valid ATM card.
Step 3: Go ahead and book your particular space using the activation code on your payment slip, if the desired hall is any of 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Step 4: Proceed to pay the relevant Hostel Maintenance fee assigned to your allocated space, upon successful booking.
Please note that all allocated spaces will be released back to circulation after 48 hours.
For the avoidance of doubt, Note that allocated spaces will be retrieved and become available for others to book after 2 days (48 hrs) of not paying the Hostel maintenance fee.
Step 5: Print out relevant Slips to use for clearance into the Halls of Residence.
Students that require space in any of the reserved halls should submit their payment slip to student affairs.
Any Student allocated a space in the reserved hall is also expected to go ahead and book with their activation code and to Immediately proceed to pay the relevant Hostel Maintenance fee assigned to your allocated space, within 48 hours, upon successful booking.

LAUTECH Matriculation Date
The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH), management is using this platform to inform all the students who were admitted into the Institution during the 2019/2020 admission exercises that the freshers matriculation has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, February 6th, 2020, at 10.00 am prompt in the 1200 Seater Lecture Theatre.
Therefore, all the male Matriculating students are to preferably put on Black Trousers and White Long Sleeve Shirt with Maroon Color Tie while their female counterparts are advised to put on Black Skirt and White Shirt with Maroon Color Neck Scarf.
All matriculating students are directed to adhere strictly to the dress code as anyone who does not conform will not be admitted into the venue.
All the matriculating students are requested to visit their respective Faculties for collection of matriculation gowns for the ceremony as from Thursday, January 23rd to Wednesday, February 3rd, 2020.
The academic gowns collected should be returned to the Faculty Officer on or before Tuesday, February 11th, 2020. Failure to return the LAUTECH matriculation gowns as at when due will attract a fine of One hundred Naira (N100.00) only per day to be paid to the Bursary Department of the University.
All matriculating students are expected to assemble in front of the 1200 Seater Lecture Theatre by 9.00 AM prompt for the ceremony.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB is set to Announce Mock Examination Date and according to the board, the Jamb Mock Exam is optional. Finally, the Jamb Mock Exam Date for 2020 UTME is going to hold on Tuesday 18th February 2020.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will conduct a mock examination in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and familiarise interested Candidates with the Computer Based-Test (CBT).
The Joint Admission and matriculation board, JAMB has highlight that there will be a mock examination before the actual 2020 UTME.
JAMB UTME Mock Examination Date Announced
The date of the JAMB Mock examination has been announced and it will take place on Tuesday 18 February 2020. According to the board, the purpose of the JAMB mock exam is to allow candidates to feel what the main examination will look like. The Mock exam will take place on the date announced above.
However, the board stated that the mock examination is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. In other word, it is not really compulsory for writing the actual JAMB UTME so you can choose to take the mock examination or not to.
Note: Candidates who indicate interest in the mock examination will be informed when to re-print their slip. Also, the details will be sent to your mobile phones and email.
Non-JAMB CBT Centres are allowed to collect, through their bank accounts, a separate Seven Hundred Naira (N700) only, for mock exercise from only interested candidate(s) after notification of centre has been received by the candidate(s). The payment for mock examination by the candidate shall be made to the centre to which the candidate is assigned after the notification of assigned centres for the mock examination. No Association or body is permitted to run any mock examination on behalf of JAMB.
DO NOT PAY FOR MOCK UNTIL JAMB ASSIGNS YOU TO A CBT CENTRE. NO ONE SHOULD PATRONISE FRAUDSTERS. ONLY JAMB ACCREDITED CBT CENTRES CAN DO VALID REGISTRATION AND SERVE AS EXAMINATION CENTRES.

Enter your Application No and Select your Student Type (New student or Returning student) then create your portal account. A unique Portal ID, email and password will be issued to you.
Log in to your Portal account with the issued portal account details and Select “School Fee Menu” and choose “Get School Fee” then and make fee payment at the Bank or from the school portal via ATM Card and Click on “Get School fee receipt” under School Fee Menu and Print the fee receipt.

The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board, JAMB has made available the CBT Centre Application Form for the accreditation of their Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres for 2020 UTME.
According to board, the importance of proper inspection for accreditation purposes cannot be over stressed. This will largely prevent issues during the exercise and ensure JAMB conducts a smooth and credible examination.
Centers will not be paid (and indeed be penalized) where a session does not run full capacity concurrently.
