The Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU Supplementary Form (post-UTME admissions) for the 2019/2020 academic session is now on sale.

This is to inform all the candidates who are yet to be offered admission into their most preferred course, that the AKSU change of course form is on.

How to Apply for AKSU Supplementary Admission

Candidates whose names are not in the Akwa Ibom State University Admission List are advised to visit the Nearest Accredited JAMB CBT Centre to Upload their WAEC/NABTEB/NECO Result on or before Friday 18th October, 2019. Failure to do so will see you forfeit your chance of admission.

However, the Akwa Ibom State University still has space to accommodate qualified / eligible candidates who could not secure admission into their First Choice Programmes. Interested candidates are hereby requested to consider the option of changing to other Programmes with the same UTME subject combination and O’Level requirements, as indicated in the table below;

Programmes UTME Subject Combination O’level Requirements
Agricultural Economics & Extension, Animal Science, Crop Science, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Soil Science English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science & Mathematics or Physics. Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and Physics.
Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Education / Mathematics English Language, Mathematics and any two other subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
Education / Physics English Language, Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry, plus one other subject Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
Statistics, Mathematics, Physics English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Zoology English Language, Biology and any 2 of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Chemistry English Language, Chemistry & two (2) of Biology, or Physics or Mathematics. Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Categories of candidates who cannot be recommended for AKSU Supplementary admission are as follows;

  • Candidates who did not participate in the AKSU Post-UTME screening exercise.
  • Candidates with wrong/incorrect UTME subject combination.
  • Candidates with incomplete O’level requirements or awaiting result.
  • Candidates who have not uploaded their O’level on JAMB portal/whose uploads have not yet reflected on JAMB CAPS.

Please Note:

Changing to any of these Programmes as indicated above does not guarantee automatic admission. Only candidates who meet the cut-off mark for the Programme would be considered for admission.

AKSU Post UTME Supplementary Form Closing Date

The deadline for candidates to change Programmes on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB portal is Friday, 25th October, 2019.
